The Club is looking for new members. The VI Riders Club provides snowboarding instruction with certified coaches for beginners, intermediate and expert youth at Mount Washington Alpine Resort.
The VI Riders accepts youth members age 12 and up. Training sessions take place in a safe, fun, low-pressure environment. Members may also have the chance to compete in several events throughout the season.
The VI Riders hosted an open house in October, inviting King of the Hill Cavin Donald to meet potential new members. Donald, from Campbell River, dominated the mountain in 2006/07. For his efforts he earned a season pass for the 2007/08 winter season.
