Looking back at the experience of buying my first home, from the comfort of my new, beautiful living room, view of the river at my doorstep, wood burning stove at my feet, I think about how I almost said no to this. In fact, I did say no….and Rick, what did he say?…..”I think you’re making a mistake” and that was all he said. “Damn you” was what I was thinking. Now, looking back at it all, I truly don’t believe Rick would have said it if he hadn’t actually believed it. His belief turned out to be absolutely right. Despite my fears and uncertainty, I was not led astray. Rick helped me see the potential sitting before me and what I could create.
