Winter Preview

While Easy Acres and the Magic Carpets are undoubtedly the biggest news for winter at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, some other changes are afoot this season.

Night skiing has been expanded to include Sunday nights, Public Relations Director Brent Curtain said. So the lights will be on from Thursday to Sunday for regular night skiing, and every night during holidays.

Skiers who like to zip around the trees will also have more opportunities to do that. Goldrush Glades has been expanded to include two new trails, dubbed Midas and The Miner. The new tree terrain is at the front side of Little Washington Peak, accessed by the Boomerang chairlift.
