Mount Washington Alpine Resort had a great ski season this past year. “We started fantastically with an early opening, Nov. 30, and lots of powder,” Mount Washington Marketing Director Karen Bonell said. “1998 was the last time we opened in November,” Bonell said.
The Snow Pack is Back!
After a year of virtually no snow threatened water levels in the Valley in 2004-05, there is no such thing now: the Resort closed in mid-April with 15 feet of snow. And that snow at the top of the mountain translates into water at the bottom.
